Howdy Pardners!  The Year-End Round-up for Tax Reporting is in full swing.  Some deadlines are past and some are stampeding up on us.  For those of you who have not roped this pony and broke it yet - the following information is for YOU! Year-End Program Changes/Interim Release Download The Year End Program Changes for Accounts Payable, Magnetic Media Reporting, and Payroll for versions 4.0 and earlier are still available. They are contained in the 1/5/2005 version of the Interim Release Download (IRD), which is available on the BOSS support Web site at: http://support.bestsoftwareinc.com/mas/irdinstall.cfm Before you proceed with the installation of the IRD, be sure to read the instructions document at: http://support.bestsoftwareinc.com/mas/HowToInstall2004YearEndIRD.htm Note: If you have version 3.71 and installed the previous IRD posted prior to 1/5/2005, the Accounts Payable records in the SY0DCT dictionary file were replaced instead of merged. This might cause existing and new Accounts Payable Visual Integrator import/export jobs to stop working and Report Master reports using Accounts Payable files to stop working. If you are experiencing this issue, please go to Best InfoSource at: http://support.bestsoftwareinc.com/esite/integration_redir.cfm and perform a text search on the phrase "Multiple issues occur after installing the 2004 IRD". The InfoSource knowledgebase entry will describe the steps you should take to resolve this issue. This issue will not occur with the current (1/5/2005) IRD, nor did it occur with the previous IRD on version 4.0.
