In Abra, how do I know when to use the "OK" button, or the "APPLY" button? Which is the better choice? Is there a difference if I am in Panels or in an Action Step?
"Apply" changes the information but leaves you in the panel. It's more efficient to use "Apply" when you are in Panels. "OK" changes the information and closes the panel. "OK" is more efficient to use in the Action Step.

What should I do first when I find
surprising data in a report, or in an employee lookup?
Go to the Activity Center. Select "System" and "Processes". Then double click on "Reform Indexes". This "housekeeping" takes a minimal amount of time. It is prudent to perform it on a weekly basis, as regular maintenance. A routine run of the "Optimize Databases" option is also wise - these functions help keep your data clean and properly aligned.

Sometimes I find decimal place errors after my data entry is finished. How can I avoid this?
By using the TAB key (as opposed to pressing enter, or using the arrow keys or the mouse) to move from field to field, you will eliminate many of these data entry errors.
